Mt. Annapurna I (8,091m) is the 10th highest mountain in the world and our journey to reach its base camp is one of the most popular and famous trekking destinations in Nepal. Annapurna ranges extend from Vara-Shikar towards Manaslu and Lamjung Himal in roughly 65-70km lateral distance. This range includes one peak over 8,000m and thirteen peaks over 7,000m. The landscapes of the Annapurna region provide stunning scenery and early morning views of the mountains are majestic. The sunrise and sunset views from the trekking trail are gorgeous. Moreover, Mt. Machapuchhre (Fishtail) is the most iconic peak in the Annapurna mountain range which is reversed by the Nepalese for its unique beauty.

In 10 days, you can experience the diverse culture, traditions, religious practices of the Gurung community. Normally, the trek starts from Ghandruk village, a famous and traditional Gurung community village. We will follow the foothills of Annapurna Himalayas until we reach Chhomrong. The next day we will head to Dovan, where you will be awarded the outstanding views of Mt. Machapuchhre, Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, and neighboring mountains. The trail passes through the wooded area filled with bamboo and rhododendron trees beside the Modi river and reaches the MBC before reaching ABC. The next day, you will experience the beautiful sunrise on the top of the Annapurna ranges and neighboring mountains.

Best time to trek in Annapurna Region & ABC

Nepal has six seasons: Spring, Summer, Monsoon, Autumn, Late Autumn or pre-winter, and Winter. Among all this season Spring (March-May) & Autumn(Sept-Nov) are the most suitable seasons for trekking all around in Nepal. As like above, the Autumn & Spring season is the best season for the Annapurna Region trek because the weather conditions are much suitable for trekking. The sky looks more clear and the views of the mountains are more visible. Summer and winter are not the ideal time for trekking but at your own risk, you can travel anytime all around the year.

During monsoon, the trail is normally wet, muddy, slippery and a difficult pathway with the constant rainfall. The views of mountains and landscapes are less fair as compared to autumn and spring. But if you try to trek during monsoon, then it's full of glory, gloomy, mischievous sky, different shapes of clouds on big mountains, green forest, rivers, and many waterfalls on the way. This trekking could be a new and adventurous experience for the trekkers. The crowd becomes fewer and hotels and lodges are easily available as well.

If you are looking for other variations of Annapurna Base Camp Trek and Trekking in the Annapurna Region, we also offer Annapurna Base Camp Trek via Poonhill, Annapurna Circuit Trek, Mardi Himal Trek, Khopra Ridge Community Trek, and many more. We recently completed a 10 days Annapurna Base Camp Trek. Luxury Holidays Nepal made our trip so easy, simple, and enjoyable. We landed at Kathmandu Airport. Kiran welcomed us and took us to the hotel. The hotel in Kathmandu was very good. The next day we went to see all the famous places around Kathmandu. The sightseeing tour in Kathmandu organized by Hari was very interesting and the guide was polite, helpful, and well educated. After we visited Kathmandu city, we went to Annapurna Trek. On the trek, we saw many beautiful natural mountains and we were very happy to enjoy Nepali culture and tradition. Good and comfortable accommodations were provided. . We were very satisfied with their service and given information about the journey. . It was an unforgettable trip in my entire life. I highly recommended the Luxury holiday Nepal and join this company for further holidays.

My brother and I had been interested in the Annapurna Base camp hike for years, and after nice research chose” LHN” for the trekking. We were welcomed at the airport on arrival with a marigold flower and everything went so smoothly from there. The guides were professional, knowledgeable and enthusiastic, we're eager to answer our multitude of questions. They taught me a lot about the breathtaking landscape and people of Nepal in clear detail. We had stunning sunrise and sunset from the Annapurna range and Mountain View from Poonhill. The incredible view made the trek more wonderful and unforgettable, lush rhododendron forest and much more nature add the trek reliable. It was just ‘AWESOME’. LHN was very punctual, showing up on time. I can’t rate their service highly enough.

From the soul, I highly recommend LHN and its crew members.

This was a private trip just with my Aunt and me in Nepal for trekking in the Annapurna region. LHN made this trip memorable, makes changes on the go and to adapt to our demand. The hotels and rooms were peaceful with good sounds. We found the trek to Poon Hill challenging but our guides were so mindful, lovely and incredibly supportive, that made the trip easier and straightforward to the Poon hill where we get the panoramic view of Himalayas, flora, and fauna. During the whole 6 days of our trek, the guide made sure that we are comfortable in our hotels and have enough nutrition and rest with 5-star accommodations. They did a great job! I will definitely recommend Luxury Holidays Nepal and their staff for the great experience! THANK YOU

Amazing Experience with a Humble Guide

Amazing Experience with a Humble Guide

After a long wait, finally, I did the Annapurna base camp trek this September with luxury Holidays Nepal. Annapurna Base Camp Trek was my childhood dream which I did in a fantastic way. Due to short holidays, I had chosen 10 days Annapurna Base Camp Trek rather than 15 days Annapurna Base Camp Trek. at the beginning of the trip, I was confused and thinking out whether it will be but Luxury Holidays Nepal arranged everything very well and in a professional way.

The representative who came to the airport to receive us waited about 30 min due to the flight delay. They safely drove to the hotel room in a quiet luxury car and the service was excellent. We had a pre-trip meeting where I had enough time to ask the question and clear my doubts. The guide and porter took care of all of my needs, encourage me when it was hard and answered my endless list of questions about nature, culture, and customs. Breathtaking views of Gigantic and glorious Mt. Annapurna and Mt. Machhapuchhre was amazing, they were rising above the clouds and making a different scenario like a fantasy world. The whole journey was an incredible experience. Our guide was very helpful during those challenging segments of trekking and always beware about our health, food, and drinks, amenities at every place and stop. Without them, we couldn’t have done it. Thank You for your help and hospitality during the trek.

I would definitely go again with Luxury Holidays Nepal and strongly recommend this Local company in Nepal to anyone else.

Since I was young, I had a dream of trekking in Annapurna Base Camp and finally, at the age of 35, I did the ABC trek in Last September with Luxury Holidays Nepal. The price was quite reasonable and the professional and friendly approach of Shishir was remarkable. The guides and porter with responsible trek made our trip more perfect. It was absolutely amazing and overwhelmingly beautiful. We saw the green forest with rhododendron, wild creature, waterfalls, and snowcapped mountain. The views were outstanding and like nothing I had ever seen before. LHN provides luxuries room, excellent food, and service with the best accommodation. The team was always in the best of hands, weather arranging and guaranteeing the lodging during the busy ABC trekking season also.

I would recommend Luxury Holidays Nepal for anyone else considering trek.

That said, this is just a guide and you may tip, however much you think is appropriate for the services rendered which made your trip a memorable one.
