GON decided to reopen the Domestic and International flights

After the cabinet meeting on Monday, the Government of Nepal (GON) had proposed to resume all national and international flights. The Cabinet minister said that The GON decided to restart the operation of both Domestic and International flights. Nearly four months after the shutdown, the flights will again start from August 17 (Bhadra 1st).

The Government of Nepal had decided to suspend both domestic and international flights on March 22 to prevent the SARS-COV2 spread within a nation. Only for the humanitarian and rescue proposal, the flights had done during the pandemic period.

The suspension of the international flights and the tourist visa to every outsider made the massive break in Nepalese Tourism. Although the unpleasant loss hit the travel and tourism-related entrepreneurs and the enterprises, they support the Government's decision for the prevention of the pandemic spreading. However, the resumption of the flights again gives a beautiful smile on the face of the Nepalese tourism industry.

After the Cabinet Meeting, The Minister of Culture, tourism, and civil aviation of Nepal, Mr. Yogesh Bhattrai, said that the resumption will begin from August 17 in the Nepalese Calendar system Bhadra 1 and the ministry will provide the direction for detailed health protocol as well.

However, the decision of The Government of Nepal has not still confirmed the resumption of the Tourist Visa issues. It is not clear when the tourist visa issuance will start. But, there is a high chance of the Tourist granting process resumption very soon.

The decision of International Flight resumption is a piece of good news for everyone willing to visit Nepal in the Autumn as well as the tourism enterprises of Nepal. As the autumn is the best time to visit Nepal and the best trekking season, the government decision over the international flight resumption brings lots of possibilities to restate the Economic as well as tourism conditions in Nepal.
