Gosaikunda lake trek is a popular short trek in Nepal for both wanderlust and pilgrims. Gosaikunda trek generally starts from Dhunche, which is just a 7 hours drive from Kathmandu. You will stay overnight at Dhunche. You have to pass medium to hard trekking trails before reaching holy glacial Gosaikunda lake

Best Time for Gosaikunda Trek

In the Spring season, you will get to walk through the colorful trails in the first few days. Gosaikunda temperature decreases in the winter season but is best for those who love walking in the snow and want to enjoy the amazing frozen Gosaikunda lake. Also, many people travel during monsoon as well, because there is a festival called “ Janai Purnima” which falls normally during this monsoon season and this festival has great value with this lake.
