After arriving in Kathmandu, a representative from Luxury Holidays Nepal will pick up from the airport and take to your hotel. In the afternoon, you may take a rest or visit Luxury Holidays Nepal’s office. At evening, we host a pre-trip meeting at your hotel in Kathmandu and introduce your tour guide. Please seek this opportunity to ask questions about your trip. This includes a final briefing and preparations for the trip. For the meeting, please make sure you bring your passport, one passport-size photo, and a readable copy of your travel insurance policy. During this meeting, please clear the due balance, if any. After breakfast, your sightseeing trip will start. You will have a private vehicle and a professional tour guide for your sightseeing tour. You will visit the following sites.
Swyambunath Stupa - The Monkey Temple (World Heritage Site):
You can watch over the valley from the top of a hillock on its western side. Swyambhu is also known as Samhengu and the Monkey temple because of the countless monkeys living in the premises.
Pashupatinath Temple (World Heritage Site):
Pashupatinath Temple is one of the holiest Hindu temples of Nepal. It is located on the banks of Bagmati River on the eastern outskirts of Kathmandu. Pashupatinath is the most important temple dedicated to god Shiva.
Boudhanath Stupa is 2500 years old Buddhist stupa in the Valley built in the 5th century with four pairs of eyes of Lord Buddha in four cardinal directions keeping an eternal watch over the people and their doings. You will find Buddhist pilgrims from Tibet going round the stupa spinning the prayer wheels.
Patan Durbar Square (World Heritage Site):
Patan Durbar Square - located in central of city Lalitpur. It displays the Newari architecture that had reached its pinnacle during the reign of Malla kings who were great builders and patrons of the arts.
The rest of your time is free for further exploration and some shopping nearby your hotel.
After breakfast, leave Kathmandu for Pokhara (known as The Lake City owing to the large number of lakes in the city). As you leave Kathmandu, the landscape changes. You will see hills, small settlements and terraced farms. Upon your arrival in Pokhara, the beautiful lake city, you are rewarded with magnificent views of the Himalayas, including Dhaulagiri (8,167m), Manaslu (8,156m), Machhapuchhre (6,993m), the five peaks of Annapurna and others. Check-in to the hotel and take a rest. You may also stroll in the streets of Pokhara and just enjoy being in one of the most beautiful cities of Nepal.

Locally known as Patale Chhango and in the southern flank of the Pokhara valley is where the stream flowing from Fewa Lake collapses and surges down the rock into a deep gorge, leaping through several potholes. This is hugely popular with tourists and locals alike.
Gupteshwor Cave: The revered Gupteshwor Cave is situated 2 kms from Pokhara airport. The entrance is right across from Devi’s fall and the cave is almost 3 kms long. It has some big hall-sized rooms and some passages where you have to crawl on all four. This cave holds special value to Hindus since a phallic symbol of Lord Shiva is preserved here in the condition it was discovered.
Seti River Gorges: Carved by Seti-Gandaki is one of the natural wonders of Pokhara. K.I. Singh bridge at Bagar, Mahendrapool & Prithivi highway Bridge near bus park, provides a perfect view of the river’s dreadful rush and the deep gorge made by the turbulent flow of white water.
World Peace pagoda: The World Peace Pagoda in Pokhara is painted an intense white and sits on the top of a hill overlooking the Annapurna Mountain range which reflects off Lake Phewa. It is one of the most serene peace pagodas in the world. It was built by Japanese Nipponzan Myohoji organisation after World War 2 and one of over 80 peace pagoda around the world day. The ultimate aim of building peace pagoda is to inspire peace for all races and creeds. You can easily visit the World Peace Pagoda in from Lakeside and its well worth the trip for the views alone.
Early morning drive to Sarangkot. If you want to work out a bit you can also hike till the top of Sarangkot hill. The scene from a top Sarangkot is breathtaking. You will see a panoramic view of some of the highest peaks in the world such as Mt. Annapurna, Mt. Dhaulagiri and so on. You can witness the beautiful sunrise from this point as well. After the sunrise view you will drive back to the hotel and enjoy your breakfast.
After breakfast, you will have time to rest for some times and then gather your things and move towards your next destination, Lumbini. On reaching Lumbini you will check-in at your hotel and then relax.

You can get a visa in Kathmandu airport upon arrival for $25 USD (or equivalent in other major currencies) for a 15 days visa or $40 USD for a 30 days visa. Please bring 2 photos for the visa. When and where should you arrive?
Please book your international flight to arrive and depart from Kathmandu international airport. The tour starts with the first day of arrival in Kathmandu and ends on after the scheduled trip after breakfast.
You will be received outside the Kathmandu international airport terminal by representatives holding a Luxury Holidays Nepal sign card and he will escort you to the Hotel.

Currencies are accepted in Nepal:
Some major currencies (USD, AUD, and EURO) are accepted for both VISA and in general. There are plenty of ATM's in Kathmandu, Chitwan and Pokhara and credit cards are accepted in limited shops and many restaurants. Please note that only Nepali rupees are accepted on the trek.
The altitude sickness will get from 3000 meters. Normally below three 3000 meters will not have altitude related problems usually for people for stable health. But above it can cause altitude-related sickness.
We do not hope that there may arise any serious problem for you in your journey, but if you get caught by serious illness, then we will do our best to take you to the nearest hospital possible.
