I had done the Luxury trekking package with Luxury Holidays Nepal who is excellent organizer with good performance, well managed and offers the best luxury hotel rooms, quality services, and food. Driver Kiran waited for me at the airport for 30 minutes. Our guide Ram was helpful, energetic with excellent response and a good manner. Everest Base Camp was my longtime dream. The whole trip was well organized and Ram looked after us for the entire trip excellently. He arranged everything perfectly from the accommodation, food, luxury hotels and shower, and medical goods as well. The lodges on the mountain were superb and luxury with great service. The breathtaking experience from the mountain, sunrise, the flora and fauna and amazing scenery from the hill was mesmerizing. It is a great experience in my life and this region was splendid. I was so thankful that our trek guide and porter for adventure time and especially thanks to Shishir. He is a professional and a good friend as well. Luxury Holidays Nepal (LHN) is highly recommended if you are looking guided service in Nepal.

We just completed our Everest Base Camp trek as a group of 10 family members with Luxury Holidays Nepal. This was a once in a lifetime adventure for us all and we couldn’t have picked a better company then Luxury Holidays Nepal. They managed the best hotel room and lodges according to our will and it was precious and excellent. Shishir was very easy to talk to a very resourceful person and communication was very prompt. Upon arriving in Nepal he was there to personally greet us all at the airport and we all felt at ease and check with us daily in Kathmandu to point us in the right direction from restaurant to a money exchange to buying equipment and souvenirs. Hats off to his dedication to client satisfaction. Our guide Ram was brilliant and outstanding with knowledgeable about the Everest area and other places too. We were his priority during all aspects of the Trek-he went above and beyond to ensure this in the challenging condition. The unspeakable beauty of the place was making us fall in love with the whole place and passing through the quaint villages, grassy paths, steep rocks, etc. It is true that nothing beats the excitement while we headed to base and view of Everest from close was definitely a sight. During the trek our food was delicious and no problem regarding our accommodation. Overall the trip was exciting and enjoyable. All the credit goes to Luxury Holidays Nepal for making the awesome trip and memorable in Nepal. Thank you!!!

That was my second time to Nepal and again I was chosen Luxury Holidays Nepal as my travel and had several email contact before the trip and they were attentive and very responsive. They provided us every detail related to 5 star Everest Base Camp. I enjoyed this trip more than I had expected and we had the most amazing Guide, guiding us on our trek and his energy was through the trek. The weather amazingly clear and sunny most days a great time of year for the trek but still cold enough to make us shiver. In the Himalayan region, the local people are so amazing and greeted us. ”Guest is God”. The sheer size of the valleys and Mountain something I have never experienced. Thank You Luxury Holidays Nepal for being my companion for 12 days in your country, it was really amazing experience for me. LOVE YOU ALL!!

But, The guide explaining things about the local life and villages on the way made it even better. The experience was awesome and the Everest is very beautiful. The guides Dharel and Santosh were very friendly and helpful. Hope to go again for trekking through LHN with the same guides.

From our arrival at Kathmandu Airport to our stay in the Himalayas, LHN’ has made this trip the most memorable from beginning to end. LHN  provided food, warm jackets, sleeping bags, and accommodation all for a competitive rate. During our trek to EBC Ram was very attentive to us, always anticipating our needs before we were even aware of what we required. Our porter’s name is Karan Sherpa, always smiling and fast on the trek. Our bags were always ready in front of our rooms before we reach the hotel. Very well organized and excellent service. We’re planning on another trip with Luxury Holidays Nepal next year and had requested Ram again as our guide. Excellent job.

We trekked to Everest Base Camp with Luxury Holidays Nepal in last November, flying back from Lukla. We've done this several times before  but this time it was a private trip and it was one of the best treks. Our guide Bikash Bhandari, was first rate and had an excellent command of English and out porters Ramesh and Hari were also extremely good. Accommodation in the lodges was also very good. We can also warmly recommend the Gokarna Forest Resort in Kathmandu, a real home from home. Well done LHN teams, we would be happy to travel with your company again. Good luck entire team and hope to see you again in Nepal.

We (a couple from Australia) did the Everest base camp trek in late November- beginning of December 2016. It was great! November is the last month of trekking season, but we still had really nice weather and nice days in the mountains. We flew into Lukla and hiked for a total of 13 days. On our way down we walked to Khumjuung and visited Khunde, which we really liked and recommend. We used the guide book “Trekking the Everest Region” by Jamie McGuiness, and we really enjoyed to read it during the evenings.
Our trip was organized by Mr. Bikash Bhandari and his “Luxury Holidays Nepal” www.luxuryholidaynepal.com. For approximately 1800 USD per person he met us at the airport, arranged and paid for our room at Gokarna Forest Resort. The price also included the plane ticket Katmandu – Lukla –Katmandu, a very nice and experienced guide and a porter. During the trek, our breakfast and accommodation was also included. We recommend using Bikash and LHN Company, they met all our expectations and we are very happy with our trip.

"Excellent trek to Everest Base Camp and Kalapathar"

Rating:

My husband and I have just completed the Everest Base Camp trek and cannot recommend Luxury holidays Nepal enough. They were very accommodating to our needs and communication before, during and after was always prompt and efficient. Our highly professional guide Sonam Sherpa could not have done more to ensure our comfort, safety and wellbeing. His knowledge of the mountains, heights and history was impressive. As well, he bought to our attention wildlife including musk deer, mountain goat and Tibetan peacock, which we were excited to see. On the same day as reaching Everest Base Camp, my husband and Sonam also reached the peak of Kalapathar, which they summited in 1hr (very happy husband!).
Ramesh you are a powerhouse, thank you for carrying our gear and always smiling! We miss your smile already!
Thank you Luxury Holidays Nepal, Sonam Sherpa and Ramesh for assisting us in achieving our goal. We greatly appreciate it.

Could not fault this company! Very professional all round. Quick to respond to any email queries before the trek. Our guides were more than just guides they were waiters, porters, medics, mountain encyclopedias and friends!! 2 of our group got altitude sickness and the company handled this situation expertly, arranging for their return to Kathmandu with no further impact to the rest of the trekkers. I would recommend this company to anybody wishing to successfully reach EBC with any level of experience. I will be using them again when I return to Nepal.

Trekking Grade:
The Everest base camp trip is a fairly challenging journey. It is moderately long trekking that goes into the country's most elevated mountain. So travelers require more energy and the trip is actually tiring which includes 5-8 hrs. (approx.) of walking per day on the rocky edges. It doesn't require previous experience, but you must be physically healthy and better if you do regular exercise. If you love walking at high altitudes, then this trip is for you.

Tips:
A general rule of thumb for tipping is from USD 40 to USD 70 per Traveler, depending on the length of the trek. Porters do appreciate a personal tip, although it is not uncommon for the Guide and his Porters to pool the tips they have collected before splitting it amongst themselves, with the Guide is getting a little more for overseeing the welfare and safety of both the Travelers and Porters as a whole. That said, this is just a guide and you may tip however much you think is appropriate for the services rendered which made your trip a memorable one.

Note:
1. Please note that often the Kathmandu-Lukla-Kathmandu flight gets delayed by a few hours or may even be canceled for one, two, or more days due to unfavorable weather conditions. Such conditions may arise even in the best seasons. Hence, in such cases, you must be prepared for long waits either at Kathmandu or Lukla airports, as this can happen either at the start or end of the trek or even both! We will do our best to avoid such delays, and arrange the next flight for you. We also organize Helicopter rescue in such conditions, if it is available and upon request by our clients. The helicopter charges around USD 3500 and it can lift 4-5 persons per flight. Still, we suggest you be prepared for possible delays/cancellations, and if possible to come with some extra days (1-2 days) at the end of the trip to accommodate such delays. If everything runs smoothly and you still have extra days then you may even engage yourself in optional activities that can be arranged by Luxury Holidays Nepal upon request. The optional activities may include visiting places/landmarks of your choice, adventure sports, shopping, etc.

In case the flight delay/cancellation happens at the start of the trip and it goes so long that it disturbs your onward travel schedule, you are free to choose an alternative trip such as a trek in the Annapurna, Langtang, or any other region. If you are not interested in the alternative trip and would rather wait for your original preferred trip, you are welcome to wait in Kathmandu for as many days as it takes to get a flight to Lukla. However, please note that there will be no refund if you lose time waiting at the airport and do not take an alternative tour or you only do a short trek later due to time limitation. If the cancellation happens before the trip, we will provide you accommodation and lunch in a guesthouse in Kathmandu. In case of the flight delay/cancellation after finishing the trek, you will be responsible for all your expenses. Please also note that you will not be entitled to any refund for the services (such as hotel, transportation, flight, etc.) included in the package that you would not use later.

2. During the trip; weather, local politics, transport or other factors, that are beyond our control can result in a change of itinerary. It is however very unlikely that the itinerary would be substantially altered. If alterations are necessary the leader will decide what is the best alternative taking into consideration the best interests of the whole group. Where a change does occur, we do everything we can to minimize its effect.
