Latest Updates Regarding the Visa Resumption in Nepal

No quarantine, visa on arrival!

Almost two years of the COVID19 pandemic, there is good news for travelers around the globe as the cabinet meeting held on the 23rd of September 2021 along with the Nepal Tourism Board (NTB), Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Civil Aviation Nepal has decided to remove the seven days mandatory quarantine and they also resume the visa on arrival for the fully vaccinated tourists.

Nepal was badly hit in the first, second, and almost third phases of the COVID19 pandemic but gradually the cases are decreasing amidst the vaccination campaigns that are running rapidly around the nation. The decision from the cabinet seems perfect at the beginning of the autumn season. Nepal has been eagerly waiting to welcome foreigners for the last two years and the time has come now finally to explore and renunciate yourself in the beauty of nature, mountains, and rich culture and festivals of Nepal.

The decision from the cabinet has made traveling to Nepal convenient for all the foreigners around the globe. If you are fully vaccinated and have a negative COVID19 test, then you can come to Nepal and get an arrival visa. After removing the seven days mandatory quarantine for foreigners, it will be easier to get the Nepal visa for travel and tourism-related works. They can directly resume their activity after arriving in Nepal.
