Many travelers have a lot of queries regarding the visa services in Nepal after the second wave of global pandemic COVID19. With the relaxation of prohibitory orders from local government, gradual resumption of public transportation, domestic and international flights, the Government of Nepal has decided to resume all the suspended visa services from 2nd July 2021 following all the safety measures. The department also mentioned that services will be provided without any fees and penalties during the departure and arrival in Immigration of Nepal.
As per the prior decision of the Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation, international flights are now open in Nepal and anyone having a Nepal Visa and other related documents and reports can come to Nepal. Previously the government has suspended all international and domestic flights to stop the spreading of the virus. The Nepal Tourism Board, under the Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation, has also resumed several tourism-related services. Nepal Tourism Board has started to provide trekking and expedition permits and also resumed other tourist and tourism-related services and activities.
