This Nepal Tour with Jungle Safari begins with an exploration of the heritage sites in Kathmandu. We visit Swyombhunath, Bouddhanath, Patan and Pashupatinath. After this beautiful discovery of Kathmandu valley, we drive to Nagarkot. Nagarkot is a hill station popular for stunning sunrise, sunset and breathtaking mountain scenery including the top of the world, Mt. Everest from Nagarkot. On the way back from Nagarkot to Kathmandu, we visit Bhaktapur, the most ancient city in Nepal.

Next, we go to explore Chitwan National Park with exciting include Wildlife tour elephant back ride to see the wild animals in the National park, canoe trip in the dense sub-tropical jungle, elephant bath in Rapti river and of course the cultural dance of Tharu community in the evening. After spending two nights in Chitwan, we drive back to Kathmandu to end our Nepal tour with sunrise and Jungle Safari

Outline Itinerary

01 Days Arrival in Kathmandu airport and Pre-trip meeting.

After arriving in Kathmandu, a representative from Luxury Holidays Nepal will pick up from the airport and take to your hotel. In the afternoon, you may take a rest or visit Luxury Holidays Nepal’s office. At evening, we host a pre-trip meeting at your hotel in Kathmandu and introduce your tour guide. Please seek this opportunity to ask questions about your trip. This includes a final briefing and preparations for the trip. For the meeting, please make sure you bring your passport, one passport-size photo, and a readable copy of your travel insurance policy. During the meeting, please clear the due balance, if any. Please inform us in advance if you will be arriving late and therefore are unable to attend the pre-trip meeting. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Luggage:
You should carry the water bottle, sun cream, camera, spare jacket, etc.  in your daypack. You are provided with a free locker room in a hotel in Kathmandu. The weight allowance in domestic airlines of Nepal is up to 20 kg and for more weight, you have to pay US$1 per/kg depending on the area.

Luxury Holidays Nepal will facilitate you with the trained traveling guide in your group.

Payment of the Due Balance:
The rest amount of your trip can be paid in our office after your arrival or via online payment before your arrival in Nepal (Online payment link). If you choose to settle your holiday balance by credit card a handling charge of 4% on the outstanding balance is made. There is no handling charge for payment by bank transfer.

Vouchers:
If you have purchased a voucher for the tour, please inform us which tour date suits you as soon as you are certain. We need time to purchase your domestic air ticket and make other arrangements so please confirm your spot on a tour at least 2 months prior to the commencement of the tour. Visa:
You can get a visa in Kathmandu airport upon arrival for $25 USD (or equivalent in other major currencies) for a 15 days visa or $40 USD for a 30 days visa. Please bring 2 photos for the visa. Expect to have some waiting time in the queue for obtaining your visa. You can also get your visa prior to coming on the tour by contacting your closest Nepali embassy. (Nepal Visa Info)

When and where should you arrive?
Please book your international flight to arrive and depart from Kathmandu international airport. The tour starts with an orientation meeting at about 5 pm on the first night of the tour and ends on after the scheduled trip after the breakfast.
You will be received outside the Kathmandu international airport terminal by representatives holding a "Luxury Holidays Nepal" sign card and he will escort you to the Hotel.

Currencies accepted in Nepal: 
Some major currencies (USD, AUD, and EURO) are accepted for both visa and in general. There are plenty of ATM's in Kathmandu and credit cards are accepted in limited shops and many restaurants. Please note that only Nepali rupees are accepted on the trek.

Health Issues:
The altitude sickness will get from 3000 meters. Normally below three 3000 meters will not have altitude related problems usually for people for stable health. But above it can cause altitude-related sickness. If you have a health condition which might cause problems, please consult a doctor about the advisability of doing the trek.

Insurance/Evacuation: 
We do not hope that there may arise any serious problem for you in your journey, but if you get caught by serious illness then we will do our best to take you to the nearest hospital possible. Tips:
A general rule of thumb for tipping is USD 40 to USD 70 per Traveler, depending on the length of the tour. This is just a guide and you may tip however much you think is appropriate for the services rendered which made your trip a memorable one.
