Luxury Holidays Nepal is the trading name for Luxury Holidays Nepal Pvt. Ltd. Established in 2016, we have many years of enormous experience in organizing luxury tours and treks in Nepal, India, Bhutan and Tibet.

Our long experience will provide much reassurance that your trip will be enjoyable and memorable for travellers worldwide. We are organizing more than 400+ groups each year and we are therefore well aware of the need for the provision of a safe and secure environment for all travellers.

Our external Safety Consultants carry out inspections to help verify our Safety Management System. This verification complies with current guidelines from the MoCTCA on organizing Tours and Treks. It will also assist the responsible tour organizer when carrying out their risk assessment, and demonstrate that they have selected a competent Tour Operator.

Luxury Holidays Nepal Pvt. Ltd. is fully financially bonded with NRB and subject to their related Codes of Conduct. This symbolizes Luxury travel stability and guarantees our customers financial security.

Luxury Holidays Nepal has actively contributed to the work undertaken within the Travel Forum in defining parameters for Health and Safety on Tours and Treks in Nepal, India, Bhutan and Tibet.

In addition to our travellers we have Public Liability Insurance for every traveler, Group and for property damage. We are supported by Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) and governing bodies in Nepal and every year hundreds of groups entrust the organization of their trips to the safe hands of Luxury Holidays Nepal. SAFETY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

  1. Your safety is our prime concern. Luxury Holidays Nepal is committed to providing the highest reasonably practicable levels of safety throughout its tour programs. This document explains the policies and procedures laid down by Luxury Holidays Nepal to ensure that all Treks and Tours operated by Luxury Holidays Nepal are as safe as is reasonably practicable and that such policies and procedures are in accordance with the guidelines set out by the Department of Tourism of Nepal. All employees are required to read, understand and sign our Safety Management System to demonstrate their commitment to our culture of safety management.
  2. Luxury Holidays Nepal’s goal is to ensure that, as far as it is reasonably practicable, the transport and accommodation used during Tours operated by Luxury Holidays Nepal is clean, fit for its purpose and complies with the appropriate legislation and meets, at least, the minimum standards required by Luxury Holidays Nepal. Luxury Holidays Nepal also guarantees that it complies with the requirements for inclusive tours as defined in the Package Travel, Package Holidays and Package Tours. The main requirements are for us to:
  • Be bonded to give our customers financial protection - Luxury Holidays Nepal has bonded with NTB and the NRB
  • Have sufficient liability insurance to cover the negligence of our staff, servants, agents and suppliers - Luxury Holidays Nepal has $1.3 million covers with Vantage;
  • Make clear statements on what is included in the package and what is extra, as well as the basis on which any changes can be made. There are clear statements in all our brochures and quotation documents.

EMERGENCY PROCEDURES

Luxury Holiday Nepal maintains and practices emergency procedures to follow in the event of a serious incident. The Emergency Procedure manual is regularly reviewed and updated. A Duty Officer of Luxury Holiday Nepal is contactable 24 hours per day via either the main office number or mobile phone out of hours whilst groups are on tour. All Party Leaders will be given information on how to contact the Duty Officer as part of their Final Travel Pack. The Duty Officer will have available at all times details of all groups currently on tour and emergency contact numbers for all suppliers. The Duty Officer will log all calls. If a call represents an incident that has compromised the safety of a customer, an incident report will be completed. These reports are logged and used to review procedures and determine priorities for risk management.

The Crisis Management System is regularly tested and reviewed in light of incidents, accidents and near misses during the course of a year. Changes and amendments are considered following each incident and appropriate measures noted and implemented as necessary.

New key staff is made aware of Emergency Procedures as part of their induction process. Training is undertaken on an ad hoc basis based on need.
