We are greatly indebted to Luxury Holidays Nepal for helping us to fulfill our dream of the Island Peak Climbing Expedition. We thought Island peak climbing was out of possibilities when looking at the prices of the other companies. We are so grateful that Luxury Holidays Nepal made it possible. We arrived in Kathmandu on 10th October 2016 with six of my friends. After one day's stay in Kathmandu in Gokarna Forest Resort, we fly to Lukla. It was a fantastic scenic Himalayan flight that provided a beautiful close-up view of the higher Mountain range. As soon as we arrived at Lukla airport our trekking began. At first, we trekked to Kalapathar. After enjoying the great view of Mt. Everest at Kalapathar we headed towards Chhukung. We stayed in Chukkung for 2 days for acclimatization and preparation for climbing. Our climbing guides taught us basic climbing techniques which helped us very much. Then we started to climb Island peak. Although our all team did not succeed in the whole peak climbing it was a great experience though. We enjoyed it very much. We do not have any comments on the management of Luxury Holidays Nepal. We highly appreciate the leadership style and the management of Mr. Ram. All the climbing guides were highly experienced, caring, and helpful. As a result of our satisfaction, we are planning Everest three high pass Trekking in 2017 April.
