After arriving in Kathmandu, a representative from Luxury Holidays Nepal will pick up from the airport and take to your hotel. In the afternoon, you may take a rest or visit Luxury Holidays Nepal’s office. At evening, we host a pre-trip meeting at your hotel in Kathmandu and introduce your tour and trekking guide. Please seek this opportunity to ask questions about your trip. This includes a final briefing and preparations for the trip. For the meeting, please make sure you bring your passport, three copies of passport-size photos, and a readable copy of your travel insurance policy. During this meeting, please clear the due balance, if any. Please inform us in advance if you will be arriving late and therefore are unable to attend the pre-trip meeting. After the pre-trip meeting, there will be a welcome dinner hosted by Luxury Holidays Nepal. Swyambunath Stupa - The Monkey Temple (World Heritage Site):
You can watch over the valley from the top of a hillock on its western side. Swyambhu is also known as Samhengu and the Monkey temple because of the countless monkeys living in the premises.
Pashupatinath Temple (World Heritage Site):
Pashupatinath Temple is one of the holiest Hindu temples of Nepal. It is located on the banks of Bagmati River on the eastern outskirts of Kathmandu. Pashupatinath is the most important temple dedicated to god Shiva.
Boudhanath Stupa:
Boudhanath Stupa is 2500 years old Buddhist stupa in the Valley built in the 5th century with four pairs of eyes of Lord Buddha in four cardinal directions keeping an eternal watch over the people and their doings. You will find Buddhist pilgrims from Tibet going round the stupa spinning the prayer wheels.
Patan Durbar Square (World Heritage Site):
Patan Durbar Square - located in central of city Lalitpur. It displays the Newari architecture that had reached its pinnacle during the reign of Malla kings who were great builders and patrons of the arts.
The rest of your time is free for further exploration and some shopping nearby your hotel. Overnight at Hotel.
After breakfast, leave Kathmandu for Pokhara (known as The Lake City owing to a large number of lakes in the city). As you leave Kathmandu, the landscape changes. You will see hills, small settlements and terraced farms. Upon your arrival in Pokhara, the beautiful lake city, you are rewarded with magnificent views of the Himalayas, including Dhaulagiri (8,167m), Manaslu (8,156m), Machhapuchhre (6,993m), the five peaks of Annapurna and others. Check-in to the hotel and take a rest. You may also stroll in the streets of Pokhara and just enjoy being in one of the most beautiful cities of Nepal. Overnight in Pokhara.
Early morning fly northwest from Pokhara toward the great portal between the snow covered peaks of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri. You will enjoy the well-raised massifs of more than 8000 meters, and the deepest gorge on this planet.
On arrival to Jomsom you will meet the rest of the trekking staff. From Kathmandu you will have a guide with you and start trek towards Kagbeni, the main gate to Upper Mustang. Overnight at Kagbeni.
Get your permits checked, then begin your trek on a trail alongside the Kali Gandaki River. Walk on the sand amidst strong winds before ascending on a hill, reach the Tangbe Village and admire its narrow alleyways, white-washed houses, barley and buckwheat fields, and apple orchards. You continue your walk and pass another village and cross a river on the way. Next, walk on a ridge before reaching Chele Village. Overnight in Chele.
Your trek from today will be a little hard compared to what you experienced before. Your walk involves crossing two passes, Taklam La pass (3,624m) and Dajori La pass (3,735). On the way, enjoy great views of Tilicho, Yakawa Kang and Damodar Danda and pass by Ramchung Cave. Descend further and reach Samar Village. From here walk on a trail above the village and reach a ridge. Next, descend on a steep trail to a stream and continue your trek to Syanboche. Overnight in Syanboche.
Ascend to the Yamda La pass at 3,850m. On the way, pass by a few teahouses, chortens and beautiful villages. Trek through poplar forests and barley fields and reach Nyi Pass at 4,010m. From here, descend to Ghami which is one of the biggest villages in the Lo region. The village is beautiful with fields surrounding the entire village. Overnight in Ghami.
Your trek begins with a descent through a rough and often slippery trail, then cross a suspension bridge over the Ghami Khola and begin ascending. The pathway is beautiful with mani walls along the trail. Next, cross the Tsarang La Pass at 3870m and reach Tsarang village. The village lies atop the Charang Chu canyon with a huge fortress and a red Gompa towards its east. Overnight in Tsarang.
Begin your trek by descending into a canyon and cross a river before beginning your uphill trek to Lo La pass which at 3950m. From the top of the pass, you can admire the beautiful Lo Manthang village. From the pass you descend to Lo Manthang which is a beautiful walled village. From here the views of the Himalayas, including Nilgiri, Tilicho and Annapurna I, Bhrikuti Peak as well as Damodar Kunda (pond) is quite good. Overnight in Lo-Manthang.
Lo Manthang is a walled town of the remote Upper Mustang region of Nepal. You spend the day touring three major Gompas of the town, namely Jhampa, Thupchen and Chhoeda. All of these Gompas underwent expert restoration over the last two decades. You can also trek to Tingkhar which is a beautiful village located north-west of Lo-Mangthang. Overnight in Lo Manthang.
You will trek on a different route when returning from Lo-Manthang. Your trail passes through Gyakar village which houses a century old Ghar Gompa with beautiful rock paintings. According to a local legend, anyone who makes a wish at the Gompa will have it fulfilled. You will explore the Gompa and continue your trek to Drakmar for an overnight stay.
You will tart your trek early to avoid strong winds and descend for the most part of the trek. Your trail passes through a dry plateau and fields before reaching Ghiling. The walk can be relatively difficult as yo are most likely to experience strong winds on your face. Ghiling is mostly dry, but still get good views of Dhaulagiri and Nilgiri mountains. You can tour the village around the evening. Overnight in Ghiling.
You will begin your trek after breakfast. You will walk on the same trail as before going up to Lo Manthang. On the way to Chhuksang you can enjoy great views of the Himalayas and small villages you pass en route. Overnight in Chhuksang.
You will begin your trek after breakfast and this will be the last day of your trek and it is a long one. After trekking for a while, you will come to an end of your Mustang trails and join the trails of the Annapurna circuit. You will stop for lunch at Kagbeni. After lunch, continue your trek to Jomsom for an overnight stay.
Take an early morning flight to Pokhara. The airplane passes through a gorge between Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountains making the flight itself an amazing experience. In the afternoon you will have a sightseeing tour around Pokhara valley, which covers Fewa Lake, Devi’s water fall, Museum, Tibetan refugee settlement and Gupteshower cave. Overnight at hotel.
After breakfast, drive back to Kathmandu from Pokhara. This will be a journey along the river banks with wonderful views of hills and the rural Nepalese lifestyle. After reaching Kathmandu, take a rest or do some souvenir shopping. To celebrate the successful completion of our journey, you will have a farewell dinner with cultural program in the evening. Overnight in Kathmandu.
After a few days of fun and excitement, the day to bid farewell has arrived. Our representatives will escort you to the Tribhuwan International Airport as per your flight time.

I booked the Luxury Holidays Nepal team provided us a professional guide and porter. They provided us the best quality service. Mustang is in the western part of Nepal which is unbelieving for sightseeing, climbing the mountain and exploring the forest of national flower (Rhododendron) in-front of my eyes. View of the Dhaulagiri and Nilgiri was mystical. We visited with them Bhutan, Mustang and a lot of other places in Nepal. They supported us with all the formalities, they took into consideration fact that we travel with small kid, helping us to plan the trip accordingly then they were always in the reach of phone call.

From top down, the service level, friendliness was excellent. Shishir, who runs this company personally, takes care of all visitors ensuring our complete satisfaction. The guides Shiva, in our case, was the second time he guided our tour, he was brilliant, having more information than we could possibly digest, on all aspects of Nepal. The porters too, were most obliging at all times. This was the second time we used Luxury Holidays Nepal, and we will continue to ask them to guide the various expeditions we will be doing to Nepal in the future.

Luxury Holidays Nepal provides you 3/4 star standard hotels in Kathmandu/Pokhara and Teahouse/Lodge throughout the journey. Teahouse and lodge have the rooms with just the basics, normally with a bed, blanket and pillows. Some rooms have an electric lighting system and every teahouse/lodge has a capacious dining room and lounge. We will provide you and your group at the lodge which is locally available every day (In some places rooms cannot be booked in advance). If you want to upgrade accommodation in cities, then contact us for cost detail. Accommodation in Kathmandu(Timber House Nepal or similar category) and In Pokhara (Mount Kailash Resort or similar category) and for 5 stars hotel in Kathmandu (Gokarna Forest Resort or similar category) and in Pokhara (Pokhara Grande or similar category).
2. Food on the way (Journey):
Your breakfast included in Kathmandu and Pokhara and all meals during trekking. Travelers take their breakfast and dinner at the tea house where they stay and lunch is taken during the trail in the local lodge.
3. Water Facilities:
There are two good options for having proper drinking water during the trek. You can bring water purification tablets or fill your bottle for a nominal fee from the recognized and regulated "pure water" stations along the trek. As a last alternative, you can also purchase bottled water at the lodges.
4. Luggage:
Throughout the trip of Mountain Trekking, your luggage is carried and moved by the porters. You should carry the water bottle, sunscreen, camera, spare jacket, etc. Your main luggage will be your trekking bag and you can carry a small lockable bag that will provide safety. You are provided with a free locker room in a hotel in Kathmandu. The weight allowance in domestic airlines of Nepal is up to 15 kg and for more weight, you have to pay US$1 per/kg depending on the area.
5. Transportation on Journey:
Luxury Holidays Nepal will offer you private luxury vehicles for airport transferal, sightseeing, Pokhara-Nayapul, flight (Kathmandu-Pokhara and Jomsom-Pokhara) and Luxurious Tourist bus Pokhara-Kathmandu.
6. Payment of the Due Balance:
The rest amount of your trip can be paid in our office after your arrival or via online payment before your arrival in Nepal (Online payment). If you choose to settle your holiday balance by credit card a handling charge of 4% on the outstanding balance is made. There is no handling charge for payment by bank transfer.
Visa:
You can get a visa at Kathmandu airport upon arrival. Please bring 2 photos for the visa. Expect to have some waiting time in the queue for obtaining your visa. You can also get your visa prior to coming on the tour by contacting your closest Nepali embassy.

8. When and where should you arrive?
Please book your international flight to arrive and depart from Kathmandu international airport. The tour starts with an orientation meeting at about 5 pm on the first night of the tour and ends on after the scheduled trip after breakfast.
You will be received outside the Kathmandu international airport terminal by representatives holding a "Luxury Holidays Nepal" sign card and he will escort you to the Hotel.

9. Health Issues:
We advise you to visit your doctor at least 60 days earlier before beginning your journey to Annapurna Base Camp. Altitude sickness (AMS) is the main health issue. You may feel mild altitude sickness like nausea, lethargy, and headache, but they will get less in a couple of days. To be protected from (AMS) you can take Diamox pills, or you can consult the doctor and use medicine as referred and purchase them from Kathmandu. For your information, your traveling guide will also have pills for (AMS) and other basic medicine, but we suggest you carry your own medicine. We recommend you take pills for diarrhea, cold, fever and nausea.
10. Insurance/Evacuation:
We do not hope that there may arise any serious problem for you in your journey, but if you get caught by serious illness, then we will do our best to take you to the nearest hospital possible. But you will be responsible for all the expenses that take place in the evacuation process. So, it is good for you to have insurance which will cover your cost. Note:
1. Flight Delay in JOMSOM
Twin Otter is the primary mode of transport from the airstrip at Jomsom. This service is fairly dependable. Sometimes, flights may be cancelled due to mountain weather conditions or other technical problems. In such case, Luxury Holidays Nepal will organize the alternative available road transportation to ensure you are on schedule for your international flight.
The expense of the road transport will be managed from the reimbursement received from the flight ticket after the deduction of cancelation charge. So please note that there will be no refund of the flight from Jomsom to Pokhara, if the alternative road transportation is consolidated.
2. During the trip; weather, local politics, transport or other factors, that are beyond our control can result in a change of itinerary. It is however very unlikely that the itinerary would be substantially altered. If alterations are necessary the leader will decide what is the best alternative taking into consideration the best interests of the whole group. Where a change does occur, we do everything we can to minimize its effect.
