    Day 01  Arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport, Kathmandu and Pre-trip meeting.

    A representative from Luxury Holidays Nepal will pick you up from the airport as soon as you arrive and take you to the hotel as per the booked itinerary. After a few hours of rest in the hotel, the representative of LHN and the Tour guide will meet you and describe the whole trip and how it will be going.     Day 02  A guided sightseeing tour of Kathmandu valley

    After breakfast, our sightseeing trip will start. We will have a private vehicle and a professional tour guide for our sightseeing tour. We will visit the following World Heritage Site.
    Swyambunath Stupa - The Monkey Temple:
    You can watch over the valley from the top of a hillock on its western side. Swyambhu is also known as Samhengu and the Monkey temple because of the countless monkeys living on the premises.
    Pashupatinath Temple:
    Pashupatinath Temple is one of the holiest Hindu temples in Nepal. It is located on the banks of the Bagmati River on the eastern outskirts of Kathmandu. Pashupatinath is the most important temple dedicated to the god Shiva.
    Boudhanath Stupa:
    Boudhanath Stupa is 2500 years old Buddhist stupa in the Valley built in the 5th century with four pairs of eyes of Lord Buddha in four cardinal directions keeping an eternal watch over the people and their doings. You will find Buddhist pilgrims from Tibet going round the stupa spinning the prayer wheels.
    Patan Durbar Square:
    Patan Durbar Square is located in the central of the city of Lalitpur. It displays the Newari architecture that had reached its pinnacle during the reign of the Malla kings who were great builders and patrons of the arts.

    Day 03  Fly to Pokhara from Kathmandu: 25 minutes flight

    After breakfast, fly to Pokhara (known as The Lake City owing to a large number of lakes in the city). Upon your arrival in Pokhara, the beautiful lake city, you are rewarded with magnificent views of the Himalayas, including Dhaulagiri (8,167m), Manaslu (8,156m), Machhapuchhre (6,993m), the five peaks of Annapurna and others. Check in to the hotel and take a rest. You may also stroll in the streets of Pokhara and just enjoy being in one of the most beautiful cities of Nepal.

    Day 04  Fly to Jomsom (2713m/8898ft) and trek to Kagbeni (2810m/9216ft), Duration: 3-4 hours trek

    You will take an early morning flight to Jomsom- a village famous for its apples, strong winds and its amazing landscape. You will begin your trek from Jomsom on an open trail alongside a beautiful valley. Passing through the Eklebhatti village before reaching Kagbeni, you can enjoy the amazing terrains and admire the many natural features of the landscape. Kagbeni is ideally located on the bank of two rivers and the village is beautiful with flat-roofed houses. It also has ruins of an old fortress.

    Day 05  Trek from Kagbeni to Chhuksang (2900m/9512ft): 4-5 hours Trek

    The trekking trail begins alongside the east bank of the Kali Gandaki Valley. Walking on both high valley trails, you will follow the path that runs alongside the Kali Gandaki River. Next, the path opens up on a wide land where a number of mules can be seen carrying goods. The valley tends to narrow down as you walk through ancient caves toward Tangbe Village. As you continue towards Chuksang, you can admire the well-kept narrow alleys, the whitewashed houses, buckwheat and barley fields and apple orchards of the gorgeous Tangbe Village. Chuksang is only around 2 hours walk from Tangbe.

    Day 06  Trek from Chhuksang to Samar (3150m/10332ft): 3-4 hours Trek

    Crossing a suspension bridge, you will follow the trail that goes along the banks of the Kali Gandaki River and ascend on a steep trail to the Chele Village. On the way, you can get good views of the Nilgiri and the Tilicho peaks. From Chele, you will climb on a steep path and continue ascending alongside a steep canyon towards the Darori La Pass, which lies at 3735 meters. From the top, it is a gradual descent all the way to the small and picturesque village of Samar. The village is beautiful with ancient poplar trees surrounding it.

    Day 07  Trek from Samar to Geling (3510m/11513ft): 5-6 hours Trek

    Climbing on a ridge above the village, you will descend into a large ravine following the trekking trail today. You will walk on a trail filled with juniper trees before crossing a stream. The trail then ascends steeply towards the Bhena La Pass at 3838 meters. Descending from the pass for a while before ascending again towards the Yamda La Pass at 3860 meters, you get your first view of Upper Mustang from the top of the Pass. You will then descend from the pass and continue walking towards a big stupa, passing cairns before descending to the village of Geling- a beautiful village with far-reaching fields of barley.

    Day 08  Trek from Geling to Ghami (3490m/11447ft): 5-6 hours Trek

    You will ascend gently through barley fields and pass the Tama Gaon (village) and a chorten on the way to your next location. Climbing on a steep trail towards the Nyi La Pass at 4,010 meters, you can get excellent views of the Annapurna range from the top of the Pass. You will then descend and walk on a trail that leads us to Ghami. The village is a large dotting of whitewashed houses and barren fields sheltered by overhanging cliffs.

    Day 09  Trek from Ghami to Tsarang (3620m/11873ft): 5-6 hours Trek

    Your trek begins with a descent through a rough and slippery trail. Crossing a suspension bridge over the Ghami Khola, you will begin ascending down towards Tsarang. The pathway is beautiful with Mani walls along the trail. Next, you will cross the Tsarang La Pass at 3870 meters and reach the Tsarang village. The village lies atop the Charang Chu canyon with a huge fortress and a red gompa towards its east.

    Day 10  Trek from Tsarang to Lo-Manthang (3730m/12234ft): 3-4 hours Trek

    You will visit the red gompa and a fortress in the morning before beginning trek towards Lo-Manthang. Your trail drops down to the Tsarang Khola and crosses a bridge over the river. Next, you will climb up towards the Lo La pass at 3950 meters. From the top of the pass, you can get good views of the northern Mustang and of Lo-Manthang. Descending Lo Manthang- which is an ancient walled capital of Mustang, you can enjoy the rocky dunes that dot the landscape. The town has only one entrance so you will have to circumambulate the wall to the gate on the northeast corner.

    Day 11  Explore Lo Manthang

    Lo Manthang is a walled town in the remote Upper Mustang region of Nepal. You will spend the day touring three major Gompas of the town- the Jhampa, the Thupchen and the Chhoeda. All of these Gompas have undergone expert restoration over the last two decades.

    Day 12  A helicopter ride over Lo Manthang/Mustang to Pokhara

    Having explored the exquisite region of Upper Mustang, you will enjoy a helicopter tour on your return trip to Pokhara. The helicopter tour, which begins from Lo Manthang, is one of the major attractions of this entire trip. From the helicopter, you can get remarkable views of the unique landscape of the Upper Mustang. As you get near Pokhara, you can also see sights of the mighty Himalayas and the serene lakes that the city consists of. You can spend the rest of the day boating in the serene waters of Phewa Lake, resting and discovering the quaint streets of Pokhara.

    Day 13  Fly back to Kathmandu from Pokhara: 25-minute flight

    After breakfast flies back to Kathmandu. The Pokhara-Kathmandu flight swifts along with the Himalayas unveiling Manaslu, Ganesh Himal and Langtang ranges. After returning to Kathmandu, you have the afternoon and the evening to stroll along the streets of Kathmandu for some last-minute shopping. There is a farewell dinner in your hotel and you have the option to extend your trip to continue onto rafting adventure, Kathmandu valley shopping tour, mountain biking and other activities.

    Day 14  Departure day: Transfer to the Tribhuwan International Airport for your departure.

    After a few days of fun and excitement, the day to bid farewell has arrived. Our representatives will escort you to the Tribhuwan International Airport as per your flight time.
